Résumé:
The study examines the impact of child abduction on society, clarifies its concept, and distinguishes it from other crimes. It investigates the reasons behind its spread and proposes ways to combat and reduce it. Legal systems have criminalized child abduction, imposing penalties ranging from life imprisonment to the death penalty. The Algerian legislator treats this crime as both a felony and a misdemeanor, and even punishes attempts to commit it. Child abduction is a prevalent crime targeting children and requires robust action from authorities, including security forces and the judicial system, to combat and deter it effectively. Addressing the root causes and taking a comprehensive approach is essential to solve this problem.
