Résumé:
The objective of this study is to know the impact of the determinants of job
satisfaction on the achievement motivation among the counselors of guidance
school and vocational, and identify the most important determinants predictors
of achievement motivation among the sample.
In order to achieve the purposes of this study, the researcher adopted the
descriptive analytical method, and she has built two questionnaires: the first for
measuring the determinants of job satisfaction, the second one for measuring
achievement motivation. The study was applied on sample of (300) counselors
hade been selected in a random sample from school and vocational guidance
centers of ten provinces that are: Adrar, Batna, Algeria, Chlef, Oran, Tlemcen,
Ain Temouchent ,Sidi Bel Abbes, Mascara, saida
After confirming the psychometric properties of the measurement instruments
and data processing by the statistical package for social sciences version20 using
the statistical mean, standard deviation, ration weight, simple and multiple linear
regression, variance analysis (anova,manova).
We summaries the results as:
- The determinants of job satisfaction (total score) don’t affect the achievement
motivation among guidance and consoling school and vocational counselors.
- There are different levels (medium, low) in job satisfaction and its dimensions
among guidance and consoling school and vocational Counselors.
- There are different levels (high, medium) in achievement motivation and its
dimensions of guidance and consoling school and vocational counselors.
- No statistically significant differences in the determinants of job satisfaction
due to gender, age, professional experience , qualifications and scientific
specialization of guidance and consoling school and vocational counselors.
- No statistically significant differences in achievement motivation due to
gender, age, professional experience , qualifications and scientific specialization
of guidance and consoling school and vocational counselors.
- There is no significant impact in the total degree of achievement motivation
and, planning for the future, competition and perception of time due to the levels
of job satisfaction, while there were statistically significant differences in the
dimensions of the level of ambition, responsibility and perseverance.
- The motivation of achievement can be predicting through the dimension of
work content, but can not be predicted with other dimensions (work itself
achievement value, self actualization, self esteem, promotion opportunities
carrier growth, work conditions).
