dc.description.abstract |
Mint is a popular herb, grown both fresh and dried to prepare tea. It is considered one of the most popular plants in the world and occupies a prominent place in Algeria.
Mint cultivation is essential to social, economic and cultural life in many regions around the world, especially in the countries of the Mediterranean basin. Its development depends on various agricultural techniques, among which irrigation and fertilization methods are particularly important.
This work was carried out in the experimental farm in the wilaya OF EL BAYADH to study the effect of fertilizers on the cultivation of mint
The objective of this study is to examine the impact of the application of a biofertilizer, “BACOSOL”, on the vegetative growth of mint. This analysis is carried out in comparison with the use of a mineral chemical fertilizer, UREE 46, as well as à control not treated with any fertilizer. The experimental model of this study on the cultivation of spearmint was carried out in the form of blocks
The results of the study show that the biofertilizer “BACOSOL” produced the best results in terms of stem length. On the other hand, urea 46 also gave good results, compared to the controls, which did not receive any fertilizer treatment. |
