Résumé:
Our study is based on the bio-insecticidal effect of polyphenolic extracts of Ricinus communis, Mentha piperita and their synergetic effect and the essential oil of M. piperita on Citrus aphid Aphis spiraecola, the extracts were also experienced on the ladybugs Coccinella septempunctata which are aphid’s natural enemies. The results revealed 96% mortality rates, respectively for M. piperita and synergistic extract and 100% for R. communis. Doses 1% and 2% of essential oil were most effective with 100% mortality. The results obtained revealed that the mortality rate is 96% of the synergistic and M. piperita extract, 100% of R. communis, while the essential oil, the dose 1% and 2% were rated as the most effective with total mortality. Doses 1% and 2% of essential oil were most effective with 100% mortality. The dose 2% essential oil caused 100% ladybugs mortality. By comparing the results, we note that the M. piperita polyphenol extract (LD50=5.57%) and the M. piperita essential oil (LD50 = 0.1%) are the most effective against R. communis polyphenolic extract (LD50 = 9.90%)M. piperita polyphenol extract (LD50=5.57%) and synergistic (LD 50=7.71%).
