Extractions des huiles indispensables à partir d’un poisson Bleu scombridé

Abstract

This study focuses on the extraction of oils from Blue Scombridae fish using two methods: pressing and the Soxhlet method. Both techniques were evaluated to determine their efficiency and the quality of the extracted oils. The results show that the oils obtained by both methods have characteristics consistent with those of commercially available oils. Physicochemical analyses, including refractive index, peroxide value, density, as well as sensory tests such as odor, color, and appearance, have all confirmed the conformity of the oils. Additionally, infrared spectroscopy testing also revealed compliant results. These analyses were conducted at the private laboratory Afak in Oran. The results indicate that the extracted oils, whether from pressing or the Soxhlet method, meet quality standards and are suitable for market use.
