تناولنا في هذه الدراسة صورة التمرد في أهم عناصر بناء الرواية، وهي الشخصية، كما قمنا بتحليل الزمان والمكان، لذا كان لهما دور في تحريك الأحداث وبيان علاقتهما بالشخصيات. وقد درسنا في هذه الرواية ظاهرة التمرد التي كانت عبارة عن التمرد على العادات والتقاليد، والتمرد على الدين والمجتمع، وهذا يحدث عندما تتعارض رغبة الشخص وطموحاته مع ما يفرضه عليه الواقع، فتتولد لديه ومن هنا اقتضت الدراسة تقسيم بحثنا إلى مقدمة وفصلين الأول ذكر فيه تعريف . رغبة في التغيير الشخصية المتمردة وانواع الشخصيات ، اما الثاني حول دراسة تطبيقية لشخصيات المتمردة في رواية هوامش الرحلة الأخيرة لمحمد مفلاح، فمزجنا فيهما بين النظري والتطبيقي، ثم خاتمة أوجزنا فيها أهم النتائج التي توصلنا إليها، معتمدين في ذلك على جملة من المصادر والمراجع
In this study, we examined the image of rebellion in the most important element of the novel's construction: the character. We also analyzed time and place, which played a role in driving events and demonstrating their relationship to the characters. In this novel, we studied the phenomenon of rebellion, which was a rebellion against customs and traditions, religion, and society. This occurs when a person's desires and ambitions conflict with the demands of reality, creating a desire for change. Hence, the study required dividing our research into an introduction and two chapters. The first outlined the definition of the rebellious character and its types, while the second examined an applied study of the rebellious characters in Muhammad Muflih's novel "Margins of the Last Journey." We combined theory and practice, followed by a conclusion in which we summarized the most important findings we reached, relying on a number of sources and references.
