Abstract

Effective irrigation water management requires intensive understanding of water needs and how they match the available supply. In Mostgenem, we opted to use Cropwat 8.0 software. After collecting baseline climate data for 15 years (2010-2024), we presented baseline evaporation and assessed irrigation water requirements for measured and potato crops. Once these figures were integrated into Cropwat 8.0, the software generates irrigation tables that accurately reflect crop needs of crops based on information about soil, climate and plants.
