Résumé:
تتناول هذه الدراسة واقع اللغة العربية في الوطن العربي في ظل التحولات الاجتماعية والثقافية والتكنولوجية الراهنة التي فرضتها العولمة، وعلى رأسها هيمنة اللغة الانجليزية على مجالات التعليم والإعلام والإدارة والبحث العلمي، ومظاهر تراجع العربية في المؤسسات التربوية وضعف المناهج التعليمية، إضافة إلى تنامي حضور اللغات الأجنبية في القطاعات الحيوية مما ساهم في تقليص دور الفصحى في الحياة العامة، كما رصدنا أثر الانجليزية في المجال المعرفي والمعلوماتي، حيث بات النشر العلمي يعتمد بشكل متزايد على اللغة الأجنبية على حساب العربية.
وفي الشق التطبيقي تقترح الدراسة مجموعة من السبل لترقية اللغة العربية، من بينها تفعيل اللسانيات التطبيقية في مجال التعليم، وتطوير حضور العربية في البيئة الرقمية، إلى جانب الدعوة لاستعمال العربية المتوسطة لغةً ووظيفةً في القطاعات المختلفة ، ويهدف هذا البحث إلى المساهمة في حماية اللغة العربية وتقويتها في مواجهات التحولات الحديثة.This study explores the current status of the Arabic language in the Arab world in light of ongoing social, cultural, and technological transformations driven by globalization. Chief among these changes is the growing dominance of the English language across key domains such as education, media, administration, and scientific research. The study highlights the decline of Arabic within educational institutions, the fragility of educational curricula, and the expanding influence of foreign languages in vital sectors — all of which have contributed to diminishing the role of Classical Arabic in public life. Additionally, the research investigates the impact of English in the realms of knowledge and information, where scientific publishing increasingly favors foreign languages at the expense of Arabic.
In its practical dimension, the study proposes a series of strategies for promoting the Arabic language. These include integrating applied linguistics into education, strengthening the digital presence of Arabic, and encouraging the use of Modern Standard Arabic as both a communicative and functional medium across various sectors. Ultimately, the research aims to contribute to the preservation and reinforcement of the Arabic language in the face of contemporary global challenges.
