Résumé:
Alzheimer's Disease is a progressive neurodegenerative dementia with multiple
disorders. It is characterized by the presence in the brain of amyloid plaques and
neurofibrillary degeneration which cause neuronal death, vascular dysfunction and
inflammatory processes.
This study is part of the search for new natural neuroprotectors. The main objective of
this work is the study of neuroprotection against Alzheimer's disease by a natural
extract seen its richness by antioxidants.
The extract chosen in our experimentation is Bioglucumin; Mixture of two extracts of
medicinal plants (Mushroum and curcumin)
Alzheimer's disease was induced for 45 days followed by Bioglucumin extract
phytotherapy for 45 days in young mice (NMRI strain).
The results obtained show that the preventive treatment by Bioglucumin managed to
solve some problems and behavioral changes (locomotor activity, anxiety test, cross
test, forced swimming test), memory tests (non-spatial memory test Preferably
conditioned, distinguished in position, thus the storage capacity is improved during the
Morris test) and even some biochemical parameters with tissue improvement in the
histological study.
