dc.description.abstract |
This study aims at proposing alternative solutions based on the use of natural
products "bio insecticide of vegetable origin". In these contexts, we evaluated in vivo
the insecticidal activity of Mentha spicata hydroalcoholic extract and the nettle manure
(Urtica dioica) on tomato leafminer T.absoluta. To meet this objective, mint leaf
mining, and nettle maceration, was performed to assess its toxicity to T.absoluta. The
hydro-alcoholic extract of mint and the nettle manure gave a remarkable activity by
adding to the batches of control. "in vivo". The extract and the nettle manure were tested
by adopting the method of toxicity by direct contact or by spraying. The hydroxyl
alcohol extract exhibited a remarkable insecticidal effect compared to the nettle manure
against the in vivo tomato leafminer. |
