Résumé:
The bogue Boops boops (LINNE, 1758), teleost fish, is part of the family Sparidae, is of economic interestgivenits commercial value very populares pecially in western Algeria.
The objective of this work, which is carried out at the level of the bay of Mostaganem, is on the one hand to determine some parameters of the reproduction namely the Gonado and Hepatico-somatic reports and the sex ratio, on Boops boops (Linne, 1758 ), and on the other hand to see if there is a contamination of three heavy metals (Cu, Pb, Zn) in the gonads, liver and fillet in this species.
A total of 93 specimens, 60 females and 33 males, were sampled between February and May 2018. This study allowed us to have a femininity rate equal to 64.52%.
Macroscopicscale of sexual maturity by the macroscopic approach made it possible to show that the oviposition period in Boops boops se females is in the month of April when we can notice that stage IV corresponding to the laying stage which is represented in mass by this month.
The reproduction and egg-laying period, based on the analysis of the monthly variations in sexual maturity and gonado-somatic status and the hepato static report, allowed us to have a correlation between these two ratios accentuating and confirmin gour period of sexual maturity and reproduction already f rammed.
Concerning heavymetals The most important contamination concerns relative lycopper which is not considered as a toxicmetal, followed by lead and then zinc, which is displayed with lower contents. Cu> Pb> Zn
On the other hand, the fishery statistics between 2008 and 2018 of the species harve stedat the level of the fisheries and fisheries resources department (DPRH) of the wilaya of Mostaganem, showed that the annual fishing has significantly decreased by compared to the year 2008.
