This work aims to study the effect of irrigation by the treated domestic wastewater on soil fertility. We conducted this study in the treatment plant domestic wastewater from El Bayadh. In this study, we have experienced two types of irrigation water, namely water and treated drinking water on a culture potato pots. The results show an effect by the treated wastewater and drinking water to the majority of soil properties, namely pH, EC, exchangeable cations (sodium and potassium) and nutrients (phosphorus and nitrogen). It seems that the water used for irrigation (EUT, EP) have an enhancing effect on soil properties, and their wealth of nutrients. According to the recorded results, we noticed: - An increase in the rate of organic matter in soils irrigated with EUT 1.44%; EP de1.47%; - A total nitrogen content in soils irrigated with EUT 0.07 and 0.07 EP (%) - An available phosphorus levels in soils irrigated with EUT of 68.03 mg / kg and EP of 63.97 mg / kg; - An increase in the pH in soils irrigated with EUT de7.73, EP de7.61; - An increase in electrical conductivity in soils irrigated with EUT 0.23 ds / cm; EP 0.27 ds /cm -An Increase in the content of exchangeable cations (Na +, K +) in irrigated soils with EUT K + = 0.20 mEq / 100g, Na + = 0.55 mEq / 100g; EP K + = 0.41 meq / 100g Na + = 0.31 meq / 100g The number of potato tubers harvested (annex) is 13 tubers with a total weight of 270 g and an average diameter of about 12.5 cm in irrigated soils by EUT with cons for soil irrigated by water drinking, the amount collected was 428.50 g for 17 tubers and an average diameter of 12.5 cm. |
