Résumé:
Anemia is a global health problem that affects a significant number of people around the world and especially pregnant women. The main cause of this disease is usually indicated by iron deficiency associated with poor nutritional behavior that can have serious consequences for the mother and her newborn.
Our work aims to put the different metabolic alterations, by the determination of certain hematological parameters (red blood cells, hemoglobin, hematocrit), in anemic pregnant women.
The results obtained in our study show that there are metabolic deficiencies in these women, such as a decrease in biochemical parameters, as well as a decrease in red blood cells, hemoglobin, and hematocrit.
All these results show the existence of oxidative stress in these pregnant women caused by iron deficiency
