Résumé:
The olive cultivation occupies a privileged place in the Algerian agriculture and it presents a remarkable rusticity and a plasticity allowing him to produce in difficult conditions. In addition, phytosanitary problems are the main factor in the low productivity of this crop, since it can be attacked by several pests including the psyllid (Euphylura olivina). The study conducted on the population dynamics of olive psylla Euphyllura Olivina, on the variety of olive Sigoise, in the daïra of Hassi Mameche, 9 km distant to the south east of the wilaya of Mostaganem according to a device of Random sampling (zig zag form), revealed that the different biological stages of this pest were present in the experimental site throughout the study period with variable numbers. The orientation and arrangement of twigs on the tree showed a negligible incidence of infestation rates of this pest. The results obtained also made it possible to note the importance of the abiotic factors such as the climatic conditions and in particular the temperature and biotic as the auxiliary insects intervening in the regulation of the population of the psyllid.
