Résumé:
This study was carried out on agricultural land located on the foothills of the Dahra North-West (Sidi Ali) of Algeria (W. Mostaganem). Limonous, they present a certain vulnerability to water erosion accentuated by inappropriate agricultural practices, reducing any evolution of the vegetal cover guaranteeing a better protection of the grounds.
Thus, four cropping systems (SAF, SCA, SL and SJT) and four types of land cover for each cropping system were taken into consideration to study the effectiveness of each of them on the phenomenon of erosion. water. Soil physico-chemical analyzes have been the subject of statistical treatment (ANOVA), the results of which show well through the relationships established between the different systems and the variables, the importance of the vegetation cover in soil preservation and fight against water erosion.
The spatio-temporal efficiency relative to each cropping system and land use remains closely related respectively to SAF, SJT, SL and SCA.
