Résumé:
Water availability is one of the keys to the distribution of living beings on the surface of the Earth in the aquatic environment; water is a very complex factor due to the very variable physico-chemical properties (temperature, salinity and PH).
The Algerian coastline is a highly sought-after space and is subject to various urban, industrial and tourist pressures, which give it a great ecological vulnerability.
Our work aims at Oued Mactaa thus their mouth or seawater by a physico-chemical study on surface waters.
The objective of this study is to determine the concentration of certain nitrogen elements (ammonium, nitrate, and nitrite) and pollution indicators DBO5, DCO. Thus we studied the influence of certain parameters namely pH, temperature, salinity and conductivity to confirm the presence of permanent pollution due to contamination of Oued El Mactaa.
