Résumé:
Water, essential for life, is a highly sought-after resource. Consequently, local communities are forced to take this resource into account in their development plan and to improve existing purification installations.
Water pollution is a physical, chemical, biological or bacteriological degradation of its natural qualities, caused by man and his activities. It disrupts the living conditions, flora and aquatic fauna.
Wastewater discharges are increasing due to industrialization and the rising standard of living of the population, self-purification capacities are considered to be exceeded, which is pushing researchers to develop several techniques to purify these effluents.
The installation of purification systems downstream of sewerage networks is one of the solutions, if not the only one capable of preserving water resources. Besides the decontamination of effluents, these installations allow the mobilization of a large volume of water suitable for reuse in several areas.
