Résumé:
Botryris cinerea is the causative agent of gray rot in several fruits and vegetables which causes significant economic losses in many types of crops.
The Lamiaceae family contains a very wide range of compounds such as terpenoids, iridoids, polyphenols, flavonoids which have an effect on fungi, On this, a bibliographical synthesis was carried out on the antifungal activity of essential oils of the lamiaceae family against botrytis cinerea agent of gray rot from the results of work already done where we have made a collection of the results of 5 experiments which tested the essential oils of plants of the lamiaceae family against botrytis cinerea.
The results of these experiments on the effect of essential oils of the lamiaceae family on the mycelial growth of botrytis cinerea, shows that the essential oils of the plants tested have a very important inhibitory effect against the mycelial growth of botrytis cinerea, an agent of gray rot
