L’influence de l’épigénétique sur les paramètres de Reproduction chez les vaches laitières

Abstract

This study was conducted at a dairy cattle farm in the West of Algeria ﴾in Fornaka commune Mostaganem province﴿ Out of a total 208 dairy cows of Montbeliard breed for the purpose of analyze their performance in reproduction and situate them in relation to accepted standars and evaluate the effect of epigenetique on this performace . Reproductive results indicate poor fecundity of the sample studies with a banal reproduction time ﴾ V-IA1 of 61, 94±25,63days ﴿. Similarly, the fertility of cows was considered mediocre compared to the recommended objectives where the TRIA1 was 11, 26% While the age at the first calving was de32, 60±3,01 Months. Poor reproductive management and inadequate / excessive rationing of dairy cows according to their level of production may partly explain these results.
