Résumé:
Five groups of 20 rabbits from the same rearing systems aged 35-42 days, respectively, with an average live weight of 0.949Kg were studied to assess the effect of the incorporation of the groundnut in their diets on several factors (carcass yield, thyroid hormone and meat quality). Our results show that diets with added groundnuts have an impact on carcass yield and the evolution of the average daily gain (P<0.05). Hormonally it is reported the presence of FT3 and FT4 in the blood despite the atrophy observed in deferential batches contrary to the standard. The incorporation of the groundnut preserved the quality of the rabbit meat despite the increase in the ratio of the groundnut. The MDA contents of meats where groundnuts are incorporated at higher doses have lower amounts of manoldialdehydes compared to the 0.69 vs 0.06 MDA/kg controls in the standard lot and the 75% (P<0.05) fortified group.
