Abstract:
The sea is one of the most important ecosystems on the planet, but it is unfortunately polluted by various sources. The main causes of seawater pollution are plastic waste, industrial chemicals, oil spills and untreated sewage. This pollution has a negative impact on marine fauna and flora, as well as on human health.
Our objective is to study the quality of water in both Salamander and Sablettes sites by determining the different pollution indices such as pH, temperature, conductivity, salinity,
Chloride concentration, mineralization and dry residue
The results show that these physico-chemical parameters of seawater are within the norm.
