Résumé:
The cultivation of red watermelon in the Algerian coastal region, in particular the wilaya of
Mostaganem, is one of the most demanded crops, especially in summer, inside greenhouses or
filled fields. On the other hand, that in recent years and with the emergence of the
phenomenon of climate change and semi-arid climates in the region, this places farmers in
front of the problem of scarcity of water resources for the irrigation process, or what is called
the phenomenon of water stress, which directly affects cultivation and production and
confronts them with many problems in managing their crops using different and advanced
agricultural techniques, and agronomists must raise awareness among farmers about the
impact of this physiological phenomenon. The phenomenon on their crops, the agricultural
techniques used, in addition to the use of varieties resistant to drought and lack of water, in
addition to good water management. Resources consumed in this type of crop that receive
large amounts of water. To test this phenomenon, we tested it on the Nado F1 variety with
two different doses of irrigation water, since its results showed a great effect on the
development of the plant during the different stages of its life cycle. And on the number of
fruits, the amount of production obtained, and its resistance to fungal and other diseases
Notice the development of weeds inside the fields under.
