Résumé:
The present study is carried out with the aim of comparing the levels of tolerance to water stress; we first tested different prétraitements with the hormones salicylic acid and cytokinine BAP.
As a result, we were able to determine the optimal germination conditions, and then we used these results to assess the germination ability of the species under different water stress constraints by PEG treatment. For this purpose, we subjected the seeds to different concentrations of PEG (10.15 and 20 %).
The results show a clear improvement in the germination of seeds of Atriplex halimus with AS concentrations of 1 and 0.5mM where a germination rate of 92% was obtained. cytokinine pretreatment (BAP) at 10ppm concentrations, 20ppm also improved the seed germination rate compared to the control.
The combined affect of SA and water stress marks a lower germination rate, seeds treated with 1 mM salicylic acid and stressed with 20 % PEG, germination is delayed by seven days and a low rate of germination of (10 %).
Treatment with the hormone BAP (10, 20ppm) and PEG at 20% marks a lower germination rate, usually a delay in germination. It can be said that the SA hormone concentrations of 0.75 and 1 mM and a 20 % PEG treatment clearly influenced the germination rate.
