Résumé:
The messicolous plants are those that accompany the fields of cereals said harvests and certain leguminous plants of which the lentil.
For decades, these plants have been chemically controlled by herbicides, until they almost disappeared from our fields.
The aim of our work is to inventory and identify the various species of messicolous plants associated with cereal crops in the Mostaganem region, followed by a biological and chorological analysis of their abundance in the fields. The latter is the most widely used concept in phytosociology created by Braun-Blanquet.
We were able to carry out 30 surveys with plot sampling around the perimeter of the fields using 25𝑚2 squares based on a sigmatist method, during the spring period of 2023.
Following our experiment, we compiled a list of 56 species spread over 23 families and 46 genera, most of which are Poaceous therophytes. The soils of the plots studied are sandy, unsalted soils with a basic to neutral pH and very low humidity, as rainfall was non-existent in the last few months before and during sampling.
