Résumé:
Since the 1950s, the Earth’s climate has undergone changes, mainly due to warming due to greenhouse gases, in close relation to human activity (IPCC, 2013). Among the consequences of these changes are for many countries: 1) an increase in temperature, 2) a decrease in precipitation and the mass of ice caps, 3) a rise in sea level and 4) a scarcity of water resources. The Maghreb countries (Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia) have not been spared the impact of these changes that negatively affect most of their water resources. For this purpose, we saw useful to study the impact of climate change on the wilaya of Mostaganem. The results showed a remarkable increase in temperatures and a net decrease in precipitation that negatively affected the water resources of the study area.
