Résumé:
The objective of this work is to conduct a statistical survey on the breeding and marketing practices of local chickens in three regions of western Algeria: Mostaganem, Chlef, and Relizane.
The study will be carried out using a questionnaire specifically designed for this purpose to collect essential data on breeding methods, choice of breeds, selection criteria, housing and feeding conditions, as well as the main challenges faced by breeders. The analysis of the results will provide valuable insights into the current state of poultry farming in these regions, thus identifying perspectives and opportunities for improvement in this vital activity.
