Résumé:
The Mostaganem plateau (study area) is characterized by an urban concentration and a variety of economic activities, including agriculture, industry, fishing and green and seaside tourism.
The application of investigative tools (GIS and remote sensing) to the plateau territory enables us to digitize the physical (topographical indices), biotic (vegetation) and environmental environments. The GIS and remote sensing methods applied using ArcGis 10.8 software consist in georeferencing cartographic documents (1989), analyzing the ecological inventory (IFN, 2008) and processing optical documents (2023) (Sentinel-2, Bing Microsoft and Google earth images) and radar (MNT). The analysis of the NDVI vegetation index shows that between 01/02/2023 and 30/08/2023 there is a flexibility of the vegetation biomass surface (agriculture + forests), an increase due to the resumption of vegetation growth, a fall due to the natural desiccation (loss of chlorophyll) of food crops and cereal crops and a reaugmentation due to the seasonal resumption of market gardening practices.
