L'HERITAGE DE FERNAND POUILLON DANS LA CONSTRUCTION D'UN IMMEUBLE URBAIN A MOSTAGANEM

Abstract

تستعرض هذه الرسالة تأثير فيرنان بويون في تصميم مبنى سكني حضري في مدينة مستغانم، مع تسليط الضوء على إرثه المعماري والتقني والبيئي. من خلال تحليل الموقع، والاختيارات الإنشائية، واختيار المواد، يقترح المشروع إعادة تفسير معاصرة للنظام الهيكلي لبويون، القائم على الجدران الحاملة المصنوعة من البلوك واستخدام الطوب، بهدف تقليل التكلفة مع تحسين جودة الفراغ والراحة الحرارية. يشمل التصميم فراغات مفتوحة، مثل الفناء المركزي المزروع والفتحات الرأسية للإضاءة والتهوية الطبيعية، وهي عناصر أساسية للعمارة المستدامة المتوافقة مع المناخ المتوسطي. كما تغطي الأقواس المعقدة ذات الحزم الحامل المساحات التجارية في الطابق الأرضي، مما يجمع بين الوظيفة والجمال، ويعزز الرابط بين التقليد والحداثة. من خلال تطبيق مبادئ التماثل الاقتصادي واستخدام المواد المحلية، يبرز هذا العمل نهجًا عمليًا وبيئيًا وفيًا لروح بويون، ويدعو إلى إعادة التفكير في السكن الحضري المتوسطي، مع التوازن بين التراث المعماري والتحديات المعاصرة.

This thesis explores the influence of Fernand Pouillon on the design of an urban residential building in Mostaganem, highlighting his architectural, technical, and environmental legacy. Through site analysis, constructive choices, and material selection, the project proposes a contemporary reinterpretation of Pouillon’s structural system, based on load-bearing block walls and brick usage, aiming to reduce costs while enhancing spatial quality and thermal comfort. The design incorporates open spaces, including a central vegetated courtyard and vertical light wells, promoting natural ventilation and lighting—key elements for sustainable architecture adapted to the Mediterranean climate. Ribbed groin vaults cover the ground-floor commercial spaces, combining function and aesthetics, reinforcing the link between tradition and modernity. By applying principles of modularity, constructive economy, and local material use, this work highlights a pragmatic and ecological approach faithful to Pouillon’s spirit. It encourages renewed reflection on Mediterranean urban housing, balancing architectural heritage with contemporary challenges.
