Résumé:
In order to combat the green aphid of citrus fruits (aphis spiraecola), numerous works aim to seek alternative solutions based on the use of natural products extracted from medicinal plants. The purpose of this study is to test the efficacy of the essential oil of two aromatic plants: Syzygium aromaticum and Illicium verum in relation to Aphis Spiraecola (green aphid of citrus fruits).
To meet this objective, extraction of essential oils from cloves and badiane has been carried out, in order to assess their toxicity on citrus green aphids, and this applies three different tests; By inhalation, contact and ingestion.
The yield of the essential oil of the badiane is the most important estimated at 6%, compared to that of the clove that it has a low yield estimated at 0.4%. The latter showed high contact insecticide activity, with a mortality rate of 100% at 25%. The effect of ingestion toxicity indicates a high mortality caused by the essential oil of the badiane with an estimated rate of 100% for the dose 50%.
The repulsive effect of the essential oil of the anise shows an average répulsivité of the order of 50% compared to the Clove, which reported only 33%, at the dose 25%.
