Résumé:
This study was conducted to evaluate the internal and external quality of eggs in terms of
composition and conformation of two strains of industrial turkey, the conservation effect on
egg quality and hatching. A total of 336 eggs were used in this study. The eggs of strain B had
a weight, length, circumference, weight of yellow, yellow diameter, white weight and white
height (P <0.001) to the eggs of strains A. This difference showed that each strain a Probably
its own characteristics. No storage effect was found on all the studied parameters except for
the height of the blank and the thickness of the shell (P <0.001). Correlations ranged from
0.01 to 0.85 shell thickness was not related to the other traits studied. The hatching rate varies
between 91.1 and 98.4% with hatching at 6 ° C / 3 days, the weight of the chicks varies
between 60.45 and 61.88 g. An optimal hatch is obtained when the eggs begin their
incubation within 7 days of egg production.
