Abstract

Both sheep and many species can be affected by multiple pathologies, the origin of which differs from one disease to another. The hereditary origin interests us much more than the rest in our study. The objective of our work is the collection of the hereditary pathologies described in the ovine species of different races and to detect them, if they exist in the race Ouled Djellal. Following a diagnostic approach based on the pathognomonic symptoms of each hereditary pathology; It was observed; 2 cases of abortion, 1 case of a congenital malformation at the neck, 2 subjects with a podal problem, a wool drop in 3 subjects, pruritus in 3 others and 1 case of congenital joint malformation. Applying the conditions for concluding a genetic origin, a Daft Lamb Disease assumption is made in a subject.
