Algerian trade exchanges rely heavily on oil exports, which are mainly used to cover imports of
processing equipment and food consumables. Due to the inability of the policy in the promotion of
non-hydrocarbon exports, Algeria's commercial ports and their role in To the proportion of trade
exchanges it carries still unable to stimulate foreign trade and upgrade it to the level of energies
and resources available, especially with regard to the diversification of the commodity structure
and geographical areas in which it operates
