Abstract

لقد شكل إستخدام المحاكمات عن بُعد مرحلة جديدة من مراحل تطور الإجراءات القضائية، بشكل يعكس الرغبة في الإستفادة من المعطيات التكنولوجية الحديثة في مجالات تطوير مرفق العدالة. وتتمتع تلك المحاكمات بالعديد من المزايا ؛ مما جعل الإقبال عليها يتزايد؛ من أجل تطوير وتسريع عمل الجهات المختصة بمرفق العدالة من جهة، وتوفير الجهد والمال من جهة أخرى، وإن كانت تلك المزايا التي يحققها إعتماد تقنيات الإتصال المرئي في المحاكمات عن بعد ذات أهمية بالغة في الأوقات العادية، فإن أهميتها تزداد، بل وتصبح ضرورة في الظروف الإستتثنائية التي قد يشهدها العالم.
