The starting point of this work is when the American President Barack Obama led democracy to take different directions. By the beginning of 2009, the American citizens thought that democracy meant only elections and had no right to interfere in the policies of their country. The objective of this study is to analyze two periods of Barack Obama and of Donald Trump, during which democracy has different interpretations. A number of the American citizens are not aware of this system and how it reflects their social life. Therefore, the aim of this study is to show the lies of democracy during the presidency of both Barack Obama and Donald Trump. In fact, the concept of democracy has a different meaning nowadays.en_US
