In a context of growing environmental awareness, the efficient management of organic waste has become a priority. This work focuses on the design and implementation of an intelligent composting system that uses humidity and temperature sensors to automate and optimize the decomposition process. The system is based on an architecture that integrates sensors connected to a microcontroller (such as Arduino), allowing real-time monitoring of key composting parameters. Actuators (ventilation, humidification) are triggered automatically based on predefined thresholds to ensure optimal composting conditions. Comparative tests were carried out between natural compost and compost regulated by our prototype. The results showed a notable improvement in parameter stability, a reduction in composting time, and better final compost quality. This project paves the way for smart and sustainable solutions in organic waste recovery, especially in agricultural or urban settings.
