Abstract

The study aimed to find out how we can activate the role of the tourism sector in Algeria for the establishment of sustainable development, in addition to the identification of mechanisms and strategies to be taken to achieve this. In this context, the study has been dropped on the Chlef town under the guidance questionnaire to various officials and players in the tourism sector and the state to identify 93 of their number, their results were analyzed using statistical program spss20. The study concluded several results represent most notably in the presence of a statistical relationship between the activation of the tourism sector on sustainable development in Chlef Province mechanisms, and that there is weakness in the activation of the tourism sector and lack of developed and promoted at the level befitting the great tourist potential of the mechanisms available to the state.
