Détection d’activité dans les signaux EMG

Abstract

Introduction: this part talk about the history of diseases and the medication short as well as introducing the mean subject which is activity detection in EMG signal as one of the discovered méthodes in medication that can help in uncovering the muscles diseases, as for the second part, we talk about the plan that we’re going to use for our thesis.

Chapter I: this chapter only speaks about muscle anatomy in details, especially about the parts that we are going to use later on, as well as defining the EMG signal and proving its worthiness by giving some important details like the definition, how it is used and the procedures when having the checkup process.

Chapter II: this chapter talks about the methodes used in detecting the activity onset and offset that will help recognizing the condition of the muscle; we only used some new discovered themes such as ALED, M-ALED and FM-ALED. We gave the theory behind them and the principle with some pictures to further the understanding of them.

Chapter III: this chapter is all about the experiences done by the use of matlab providing results of multiple variables showing the deference between the themes used by us.

We finished the thesis with a conclusion that has our personal opinion of the obtainable results and our thought about them
