dc.description.abstractThis research project aims to analyze the fourth chapter of the Quran and women: Rereading the sacred text from a feminist point of view by Amina Wadud (1999), using Van Luween's model of the theory of social actors of the world. critical analysis of discourse in order to reveal the social actors are represented in the text and social practices. The book tries to test the extension of the translation of the Koran by a woman publishing the text of its patriarchal content. The study is divided into three chapters. The first presents the theoretical part of the study where the main concepts of gender and translation are defined and where the notion of feminism in the Qur'an is introduced. The second chapter introduces the selected theme. text chosen for analysis by Amina Wadud. She also presents the feminist specialist Amina Wadud and also illuminates the framework of the analysis. The third chapter is devoted to the analysis and discussion of data by taking up some aspects of Van Lueewen's theory of the network of social actors in chapter four of Wadud's text (1999: 62). The results of the study indicate that the new translation of the sacred text has, to a certain extent, liberated the text and its interpretation of the patriarchal burden and presented a new interpretation of the gender-related verses, which includes the rights of women and men. men.
