The work we did on urolithiasis in western Algeria consisted of: 1) In an study of the physicochemical parameters such as age, sex, temperature, pH, and density and its influence on the formation of urinary crystals. 2) In an follow-up of three groups (lithiasis, non-lithiasis and patients without control) by crystalluria based on biological parameters such as: (proteinuria, glucosuria, ketonuria, hematuria, and leukocyturia). 3) In an correlation crystalluria - urinary tract infection to detect the bacteria involved in the lithogenic process. 4) In an analysis of forty stones surgically treated and expelled spontaneous in order to discover the major constituents and this is to help the clinician to take over the urolithiasis, to avoid recurrence.en_US
