DU JOURNAL VERS L’ALBUM : LE DEVELOPPEMENT DE LA BANDE DESSINEE ALGERIENNE D’EXPRESSION FRANÇAISE

Abstract

Our project of doctorate has the principal role to study the history of the Algerian comic strip of French expression since its first publications in the newspapers until its dedication in format of album. In the first part of our work, we try to analyze the various definitions of the comics and the conditions of its birth in Algeria and elsewhere. In the second part, we analyze also the graphic codes and narratives of Algerian comics. The last part is interested in the frequency of the stereotypes and the illustration of the various ideologies, through a subtle combination of the text and image.
