Un scénario du risque de mouvement de terrain dans un îlot urbain : cas de sidi el houari , Oran

Abstract

The morphological particularity of the site of Oran as an abrupt fringe marked by ravines flowed by a plain that reaches the height of 110 meters submitted to different major risks such as the risk of the movement of the land incites us to develop the knowledge of the characteristics of this hazard, its operating mechanisms in the historic center of Oran, being Sidi El Houari. The principal objective of this initiation to research is to study the phenomenon in Sidi El Houari, to draw conclusions and to suggest measures of conceptions or projections. To achieve our goal, bearing in mind the complexity of the district as well as its architectural diversity, this study will cover a portion or a sample of the historic center of Oran. In two of its sub districts, the Calère and Blanca, this portion looks like two independent entities. At the same time, we mention the naturel factors that cause the movement of the land, the anthropic factors that affect this hazard in a negative way and finally the distinguished scenario. The photography of the site is regarded with a special interest because we hope that it permits us to observe closely the state of severe degradation of the buildings or even the collapse of a big part of the district.
