A simple technique (solvent phase inversion) has been used to prepare biodegradable polymeric membranes based on a mixture of clay (chemical treated, no treated) and starch. The disc samples of 100-300μm thickness were deposit on recquired filter papers. Different microorganisms (bacteria and fungi) have been prepared to conduct the performance of these membranes. The porous materials were retained the fungi and freely passed the bacteria.en_US
