During the disinfection of water, the reverse osmosis membranes are mechanically and chemically stressed which leads to their degradation and the reducing of their performances. The aim of this study is to verify, day by day the analysis of new membrane and to compare the result with an old one. The two important parameters to analyze are the conductivity and the concentration of the chloride ions. Soachlore membrane characterization leads to use both the old and the new reverse osmosis membranes to produce bleach requiring the ultra pure water. The lifetime of the membrane depends mainly on chemical cleaning efficiency and the supply water pretreatment.en_US
