dc.description.abstractThemaingoalofthisthesisistopresentasetresultsontheexistence,uniquenessandsta- bilityofcertainclassesoftheinitialvalueproblemsandboundaryvalueproblemsforfrac- tional q-differenceequationsandimpulsivefractional q-differenceequationsinvolving Caputo’sfractional q-derivative.Theresultshavebeenprovenanalytically,wheretheex- istenceresultsarebasedonsomeclassicalfixedpointtheorems(Banach,Schaefer,Kras- noselskii, Non-linearalternativeofLeray-Schauder)aswellasMönch’sfixedpointthe- oremcombinedwiththetechniqueofKuratowski’smeasureofnoncompactness,while thestabilityresultsdependonthetechniquesofUlam-HyersstabilityandUlam-Hyers- Rassiasstability.Tosupportourresults,weprovidedifferentillustrativeexamplesineach chapter.en_US
