dc.description.abstract Some pupils do not pay attention in the classroom and try to disturb their classmates, as a result the teachers have negative attitudes towards them and blame parents for their education. The present study is designed to investigate teachers’ attitudes towards their inattentive pupils and the main aim is to discover and to determine how they contribute to keep the attention of those primary age children learning with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Thus, a classroom observation and an interview with the teachers were conducted for data gathering. The sample of this paper are primary school teachers of fifth grade in three Algerian schools; Bekhtawi Mohamed, Belkacem Saadoun and Commandant Ferraj primary schools in Oran city. The findings of this investigation show that the majority of primary teachers have negative attitudes while interacting with inattentive pupils, and unfortunately they do not know that some cases of pupils’ inattentiveness are due to a pathological cause and need specific attention. en_US
