dc.description.abstract The aim of this work is the in vitro evaluation of the survival of two lactic strains, the strain S1 isolated from the marine fish Sardina pilchardus and the probiotic strain Bb12 under simulated digestive conditions, namely: saliva, acidity, gastric juice (pepsin 0.3% w / v), pancreatin 0.1%, and the presence of bile salts with 0.3%.The results provided by both the two strains S1 and Bb12 under different digestive conditions are interesting. The tested lactic acid bacteria has shown a remarquable resistance against the hostile conditions of the gastrointestinal tract: acidity, pepsin, bile salts, the S1 strain has a good resistance to these digestive conditions by a viability rate greater than 100% compared to the Bb12 strain. en_US
