Rheumatic pathologies represent a public health problem. Any delay in the rheumatology
consultation can negatively influence the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis.
Rheumatoid arthritis is the most common chronic inflammatory rheumatism that causes
progressive joint destruction leading to disability in the absence of treatment. Getting the disease
diagnosed early is important to get effective treatment quickly and to avoid complications. adult
rheumatoid arthritis is characterized by the presence of several autoantibodies which, if they do
not feel constantly present in all patients;
Early biological markers constitute one of the parameters which enter into the prognosis of
chronic inflammatory rheumatism. Biological examinations must therefore serve as an aid in the
diagnosis of rheumatic arthritis and their prescription results from a complete clinical
examination including the careful examination of the functional signs, the triggering
circumstances, recent and old antecedents, personal and family, and a complete physical, joint
and extra-articular examination. The other tests should be used for the differential diagnosis of debutant rheumatic arthritis. Only those who feel relevant to the clinic will be asked.
So this year doesn't allow us to do the lab work, so we're happy is a desk study that talks about rheumatism in general, RA in particular, and biological markers of RA. |
