Abstract

The sea has always been considered as a universal receptacle for all forms of pollution generated by human activities which have systematically resulted in physicochemical and bacterial pollution on the coast, thus creating an ecological imbalance and pathogenic and epidermal manifestations. The objectives of our work are to assess the physico-chemical quality of bathing water to protect human health. We assess the quality of the Salamandre cove beach for three months: April-May-June, while carrying out the analysis : parameters: physicochemical: PH, Turbidity, Conductivity, temperature; chloride;ammonium All of the results collected from the bathing water at the level of the Salamandre cove beach are below the mandatory values set, and overall have good to acceptable quality. Analyzes of physicochemical parameters make it possible to determine and know the level of contamination of seawater, but give little information on its "biological quality". The presentation of this study is divided into different chapters, the first talks about generalities about water; the second covers the different types of marine pollution and their effects on the aquatic ecosystem and the fight against this pollution.the third chapter aims at a presentation of the Algerian coast and the description of the wilaya of the mostaganem; the fourth chapter deals with the physico-chemical parameters studied 6 The fifth chapter, is an enumeration for the different methods used for the measurements of several parameters which require a precision apparatus and the description of the studied site (the creek of the salamander); The last chapter shows the results and discussion of the physico-chemical analyzes in the three months of experience
