A lot of plants are known to be used in traditional medicine to treat many diseases in clouding the inflammatory disease, some of microbial origin and others due to errors in the body's biochemistry.
In this present work, we have presented experimental in vivo and in vitro studies that have already been done on the effect of Algerian dates in the therapy of different diseases. Experiments made by doctoral students from the University of Mostaganem and from the University of Tlemcen
Their studies consist of studying the therapeutic use of date honey "Rob" and attempting to evaluate its antibacterial and antifungal activity. Then, evaluate the anti-inflammatory activity in vivo of the two extracts generated by following the model of the measurement of the mouse paw edema induced by carrageenan. The final study consists in upgrading date stones in powder form and studying the effect of its consumption on urinary metabolism in "Wistar" rats.
Therefore, the introduction of dates in human food can prevent the body against oxidative stress and against the development of certain diseases. |
