in the context of globalization and scientific and technological development, competition between organizations has intensified for survival and surpassing competitors. To achieve this, an organization must acquire a competitive advantage that ensures its survival and continuity in the market. This will not be possible unless information is acquired and used intelligently before competitors. Herein lies the significant and effective role of strategic vigilance in obtaining information, which has become one of the most important strategic resources, enabling institutions to stay informed and aware of everything happening in their environment. Therefore, this study aims to understand the role of strategic vigilance in achieving and enhancing competitive advantage.
